Green Gold in a Divided Land: A talk about fair trade olive oil

If you missed it the first time, here is your chance to learn more about the story behind fair trade olive oil from Chris and Gwen, the founders of Fable Naturals.

Featured in the most recent issue of Fair Trade Magazine, their story takes us to Palestine, where they source the high-quality olive oil used in their products.

Join us and learn about how their olive oil is used and how their fair trade business helps Palestinian farmers overcome barriers, keeping the olive growing tradition alive.

The venue for this meetup is being graciously sponsored by the folks who run The Profile - www.theprofile.ca - a coworking community and event space located in Gastown, check it out!

There will be olive oil sampling for those who sign up on our Meetup!

The Schedule of events will include:

• Meet and mingle - Olive Oil tastings 6:00 - 6:30

• Introductions and Fair Trade Vancouver overview  6:30-6:50

• Olive Oil and Fable Naturals 6:50 - 7:50

*****
