On March 30th, 2013, premium YouTube channel Geek & Sundry (The Guild, TableTop, Written By A Kid) asks all of our fans to go to their friendly local game store, community center, or host an event at home and play more games. International TableTop Day is a reminder to spend more time and strengthen the bonds with the people who matter most, our friends and family, by playing games together. Tabletop gaming promotes many positive social and cognitive benefits like increased communication, team work, planning, and is an excellent stress relieving activity for all ages.
- See more at:

Some give-aways. People can bring their own games to play. Steve Jackson Games will have a representative to demo some games and run a tournament.

* Parking Note *

Gamers tend to occupy parking spaces for hours.  As a courtesy to other businesses in the building, please try to park in alternate locations, such as these:

1) There may be a few extra parking spots behind the building.  The door to Battlegrounds Gaming will be the black one with the light on.

2) If you are arriving after 7pm you can park at the car wash just to the north of Battlegrounds.

    The venue's capacity was 35. Over 40 were there. I showed up at 2pm and there wasn't a table or chair for me, so I left without playing anything. I called in later but the venue was still packed. I'm sure everyone had a great time. I just wasn't involved. =/

      Yeah, I understand. I'm not upset. I'll check it out, for sure! It's always great to have such a large crowd. I think the website said 94 showed up. That's insane for a venue your size! I told my wife that you had a formidable selection of games, so if I decide to buy... I'll just visit you. Thanks for reaching out. I'm glad you had much success, and I'll be back. Cheers!

      GREAT IDEA! Wednesday nite is rough. Games these days last 3 hours. If I got out of work on Wednesday, I probably wouldn't arrive until 7pm if I'm lucky. One three-hour game, and I'm off to bed. =/ Look at what one Saturday event did... 94 cats out of the woodwork. Crazy what happens when the formula works out.

    I'd like to try something new. I'm up for whatever. I also have a prototype of my own. If there's any interest, I'll bring it with me.

    Would if I could but I'll be in DC that day. Go #Tabletopday!

    The location of this event has been changed to an awesome local board game store. It has more space than the law office and is a really rad place. Sorry if this causes any inconvenience.
