Re: [boardgames-386] New Meetup: FCBG - Exploring Your Own Collection (#34)

I have Railroad Tycoon and even better, I have the European Map variant which I hope fixes some of the issues. It is a very nice game and I would love to play it. And yes, it will take about 2 hours plus. Rules are fairly easy to learn and I will go over them before hand.

The extra bonus is that we rarely get to play anything together!

Announcing a new Meetup for Fairfield County Board Games!

What: FCBG - Exploring Your Own Collection (#34)

When: June 12,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Meetup Description: Lately I've been having the itch to buy some new games. Thankfully I've been able to avoid purchasing anything much once I realized that I have games in my own collection that I've never played. "Hansa" is the first unplayed game my wife and I tried. Loved it... thanks Matt and Trish. I'd like to give it a go with 3 or 4 people.

I've also got Rheinlander, Torres, Arkadia, We The People, Oasis, Verrater... never played. I'm also very interested in playing Saboteur now that I realize it's sort of a Bang alternative. Does anybody have Railroad Tycoon? I've been interested in trying that lately as well, though I suppose it might take most of the evening.

For those wanting to play Battlestar, I'm in if we get it out early.

Bring some cool games. Eat pizza. Have fun. And remember that I appreciate you considering a donation of $1 to the group for expenses. Totally optional. Thanks!

See our About Us page to view a list of games that might be played. I'll be bringing a selection of games as usual. Certainly bring your own games if you've been wanting to try something in particular.

We meet in Norwalk at a corporate office with a few tables and access to a fridge, water, coffee, and a microwave. We are welcome to bring our own snacks and such, as long as we promise to be neat and clean.

Please contact me if you have any questions or comments. The exact meeting location is provided automatically to group members when you RSVP.

**NOTE** Be sure to check out our Files section for two detailed maps of exactly where to go and where to park. Hopefully they will help!
