This is a group for anyone interested in learning more about mindfulness based stress reduction. I started this group to offer a place for people to come ask questions about the fast- growing movement of mindfulness. Come find out how and why people are finding this course so helpful in managing things like short and long term stress, grief, recovery, divorce, raising children, managing pain and health issues, and many of the difficult things life can put in front of us. These things require balance and thoughtfulness, and the MBSR program offers a way for us to learn and utilize these skills in our daily lives. Come find out why, and learn how to incorporate MBSR practice into your life. Meetings are weekly at Barefoot Living Arts at the SportsPlex on Mill Plain Road (above Pilates Studio behind Local). Bring nothing but your interest and curiosity. Stay as long as you like, no pressure to speak, or do anything. No experience necessary. All are welcome! Please come if you are a practitioner of Mindfulness to take part in a guided awareness of breath practice, and talk about your experiences and practice.
