The parade starts at 8:00 PM but we will meet at Whitlow's at 7:00 PM for food & drink.

The parade will pass right in front of this intersection.

This is prime real estate for bead catching!

This is your last chance to binge before Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent.

The Clarendon Courthouse Mardi Gras Parade, the largest celebration of Fat Tuesday in the Washington DC area, is a family-friendly event, and it’s big fun.

Thousands of local residents and visitors will line the parade route along Wilson Boulevard from North Barton Street to Washington Boulevard.

The Arlington County Police Department will close Wilson Boulevard in the Courthouse and Clarendon neighborhoods for the Mardi Gras Parade.

The affected streets are listed below:

• Wilson Boulevard, from N. Veitch Street to N. Barton Street, will be closed from 6:45 PM to 9:30 PM.

• Wilson Boulevard, from N. Barton Street to N. Irving Street, will be closed from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

• N. Adams Street and N. Wayne Street, between Clarendon Boulevard and Wilson Boulevard, will be closed from 6:45 PM to 8:00 PM.

Parade attendees are encouraged to use Metro. The Courthouse and Clarendon stations on the Orange Line are located near the parade route.

In addition, street parking in the area will be restricted. Motorists should be on the lookout for temporary “No Parking” signs. Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed.
