Do you love hiking but haven't found your "people?" Or maybe you go solo but want to make more like-minded friends? Or maybe you've been intimidated with other meetup groups because they are so big and co-ed? Or maybe you're more spiritually inclined and want to connect to nature on a deeper level? Or maybe you want the perfect excuse to get away from work and family, to have just a few hours of time for YOU?

Who to expect: rad women
What to expect: We will start with a circle for introductions & community building. Mid-way through the hike, we will do a group meditation/activity. The rest of the hike will be in silence -this is the bonus for introverts! Afterward, we will debrief!

IF you want more mileage, we can do a second loop (likely at a faster pace).

- RSVP here so we know you're coming!
- Be on time! Give yourself extra time to arrive, to park, use the facilities before we start. Arriving always takes a few minutes longer than you think, so plan ahead for this!
- Bring water, snacks, and layers!

Trail Directions: Park at Lake Anza Parking lot
The hike: Proceed to the Lake Anza entrance near the bathhouse and swim area. Outside the bathhouse area, turn left and follow the paved Lake Anza Trail a few hundred yards. At the Spillway, cross the bridge to your right and then turn left onto the Wildcat Gorge Trail to descend to the creek. At the bottom of the dam, you’ll see a small stone building which was the old pump house for the lake. Continue down Wildcat Gorge Trail past the Curran turnoff for approximately 0.75 mile. At the bottom of the canyon, turn right onto Meadows Canyon Trail, near the Lone Oak Picnic area.

Follow Meadows Canyon Trail uphill for about 1.5 miles where you’ll make a right, near the top, onto the Curran Trail. Descend on the Curran Trail for .62 miles where you’ll return to the Wildcat Gorge Trail. Turn left to follow Wildcat Gorge Trail the way you came in and it will connect with the Lake Anza Trail back to the parking lot.
