What we're about

This is a group for anyone currently or soon to be engaging as a family caregiver to a loved one facing a terminal illness or chronic condition. Hope Hospice and Home Health presents year-round education classes at no cost to the community, even if the patient is not under our hospice care. The 14-class Family Caregiver Education Series provides training, education, and resources. The monthly classes rotate topics and are held on select Saturdays from 9:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. in our office in Dublin, California.

Following most classes, an optional support group meets from 12:15 to 1:45 p.m., designed to provide an environment where caregivers can connect and share with others in similar situations. While both the classes and support group are offered for free, donations are warmly accepted; funds help Hope Hospice to produce these and other services at no cost to other participants.

Preregistration for individual classes and the support group are appreciated. Do so online at hopehospice.com/classes-resources, or contact our Community Health Educator Debbie Emerson at debbiee@hopehospice.com or 925-829-8770.
