What we're about

Music and movement for very young children promotes development. Creative physical movement promotes gross and fine motor skill development, coordination and balance, as well as early literacy, pre-math, and social-emotional skills. This Meetup group will provide families and caregivers opportunities to bring these benefits to their very young children in a group environment. Most of the Meetups will take place at Community Music Center's Mission and Richmond District Branches. Some of the Meetups will be free and others will be fee based. We especially want to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for nontraditional family structures (single parenthood, cohabitation, LGBTQ families).
