Join FRC for their Annual Christmas Light Run! We will be meeting at The Runners Spot and heading out for a festive run through the neighborhoods of Haymount. After, we will meet back up at TRS for hot cocoa and snacks. For those who can, please bring a Christmas snack to be shared by the group! In the past...cookies, brownies and etc (festive stuff!). Please park at the post office across the street or street parking. Do not park at Latitude 35 due to their parking lot being VERY small.
* Go here for route. http://www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=585743*
Please come in your most festive outfits as well :)
Please keep in mind the following things:
-We will begin the run at 6:00 PM. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time to introduces ourselves and discuss our run paces, distances, and routes, before we set out.
-For the purpose of safety, runners are encouraged to stay in a group of at least two or more people.
-****We will be running after dark, so please bring reflective belts, lights (blinking/flashing and/or headlamp), or other safety gear.****
-Walkers, joggers, and speedsters... are all welcome! There almost always will be present someone who runs at your pace, so rest assured we will work to ensure you know the route and that you have someone with whom you can run.
*** Before you depart on the route, please ensure you are familiar with one of the many routes.***
-Feel free to post questions in the comments feed on this page so everyone can keep up-to-date. We look forward to seeing you out there!
