Free weekly class. Introduction to tai chi. We explore gentle yet active relaxation while learning the basic 'Yang 108' form. Simple exercises will help clarify the complex nature of the movements. We will practice various forms of meditation. The goal is to find inner peace and stillness amid the turbulence that surrounds us. This is a very gentle physical exercise, less strenuous than walking, and can be performed in street clothes. You will find wearing soft-soled shoes or going barefoot to be helpful.
