WHO THIS RIDE IS FOR:
*Beginner Mountain Bikers with Little or No Skills
*OOS ("Out of Shape") Mountain Bikers with Little or No Fitness
WHAT THIS RIDE IS:
***This is a mountain bike ride where riders will encounter rocks, roots, incline changes and fun tight twisty turns. A mountain bike is required as this is NOT a rail trail ride. Conditions will sometimes be slippery when wet.***
Not ready for the Fitness Central Mostly Mellow Mountain Bike Ride hosted by Andrew Bruns on Wednesday Nights @ Jordan Creek Parkway? THEN, THIS RIDE IS FOR YOU!!
We'll ride for an hour and explore the many single and double track trails of Jordan Creek Parkway at a BEGINNER pace.
We'll stop frequently so you can catch your breath if you are busting a lung. And, we'll practice trail features like log overs, rocks/roots and climbing/descending or you can just watch other people do it.
We are just big kids out playing on our mountain bikes and hopefully working on our skills to become better, stronger riders with the goal of eventually graduating to the Mostly Mellow Ride and other mountain bike rides we host.
No one dropped. Rain cancels. Check back here by 3 pm day of event for weather cancellation update.
All riders must have a working mountain bike, helmet, water, spare tube and a positive attitude. Fat and plus mountain bikes welcome too!
