Break Free From Emotional Eating is an emotional eating support group with the sole aim of bringing men and women together who are seeking a way out of the vicious cycle of compulsive, emotional eating*, and food addictions*. If you are someone who is fed up with suffering from unhealthy eating styles - or food relationship - and are ready to understand why you cover up “pain and discomfort” with food, then this group is for you!
Our group will offer you an opportunity to share your personal experience and to receive comfort from others who may also be suffering in “silence”. You will feel supported by others as you express your deepest challenges with food, learn how to have a better relationship with food, and uncover what’s holding you back from living in harmony with food!
I am a certified Eating Psychology Coach and will lead our group out of darkness and into awareness. There will be discussions, sharing of experience, and strategies provided for overcoming emotional eating.
*While this group was created to support emotional/compulsive and some binge eating, it is not intended to replace clinical or professional counseling for severe clinical eating disorders such as, but not limited to, bulimia or anorexia nervosa. It is recommended you first seek professional and clinical help if you believe you fall into this category.
