  • Step into the Cloud. Step into the Future.

    • What we'll do Cloud initiatives are no longer just a competitive edge for agencies but instead, a standard expectation. An important step in the journey to the cloud is migrating integration apps. In order to do so you must consider and learn what a cloud-native approach entails. This includes understanding options for adoption including re-hosting, re-factoring, or re-architecting on-prem apps as well as, what cloud technologies other organizations are utilizing and where they are on their cloud journey. Once you understand these important parts of a cloud journey, you can begin to evaluate potential challenges and potential approaches to addressing them. • What to bring • Important to know

  • Emergent Architectures and the Future of API Security

    1800 MASSACHUSETTS AVE

    • What we'll do So come together for some cheer and collaboration in the new year as we learn about new API programs and hear how others are managing this new and important technology shift. Come for the good company, stay for the pizza and drink! :) As we move from N-tier architectures to microservices, serverless, smart contracts and beyond, it's no longer clear where your code will execute - and it may not even matter. But this introduces new command and control concerns that are best to address now before they turn into massive security issues. In this talk, TIBCO's Rob Zazueta will lay out the current state and future of distributed computing and offer some insight into the path forward to securing our code - wherever it may ultimately live. • Visual Analytics & AI

    3141 Fairview Park Dr

Agenda: 6:00 - 6:30 pm Registration 6:30 - 7:30 - Presentation 7: 30 Raffle Visual Analytics and AI Visual analytics help us explore structure and relationships in data, and it provides a basis for communicating information. Machine Learning can be used to systematically comb through data and quantitatively identify patterns. Combining Al and ML with visual analytics can be especially powerful. Starting with AI / ML, we can reduce high dimensional data to important variables for visualization. Starting with visual analytics, it’s possible to identify patterns that can subsequently be tested with rigorous ML methods. Further, AI can be used inside a visual analytics environment to suggest data shaping, variables to explore, and patterns in the underlying data. This presentation, including case studies and examples, explores this combination of AI and visual analytics methods with reference to TIBCO Spotfire, TIBCO Statistica, and data science environments such as R and Python.
