Fellowship of Reason

For decades members of the Fellowship of Reason and visitors have walked about 4 miles Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. in the vicinity of the Atlanta Beltline. Please join us as we continue our tradition into our third decade of fun with friends.

Meet us at 8:00am at the Majestic Diner, 1031 Ponce de Leon Avenue, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30306.

We'll walk down Highland Avenue and Virginia Avenue to the Beltline, up to the Jimmy Carter Center and back to the Majestic. The walk is about 4 miles long.

Those who feel so inclined can breakfast at the Majestic Diner after the walk.

Prerequisite: ~One year of college level Ancient Greek.~

As of Spring 2021, only Agnes Scott, Emory University, and the University of Georgia offer Ancient Greek classes in Georgia. Our Ancient Greek class is the only free, adult Ancient Greek class in Georgia.

We have reached our maximum attendance. We will favor advanced students who can teach the rest of us something!

Our class starts promptly at 8 p.m. and ends promptly at 9:15 p.m.

We are at the end of our first year college Ancient Greek text books and we will be reading unaltered Ancient Greek henceforth.
