This session is designed for people who have already learned meditation and are interested in developing or deepening a daily meditation practice. We begin with an opening prayer and simple yoga-style chants to still the mind and quiet the heart. Chants are followed by guided and silent meditation. There will be an opportunity after the meditation to ask questions about your meditation practice.
We are blessed to have Nayaswamis Jaya and Sadhana Devi leading our meditation on May 6th!
Nayaswamis Jaya and Sadhana Devi are founding members of Ananda Village in California, since 1969. They served as managers of Ananda Village for ten years, and have served as spiritual directors of Ananda East Coast, and Ananda Sangha Pune (India). Jaya is a Kriyacharya and co-spiritual director for Ananda Sangha India. Sadhana Devi is the coordinator for Ananda Meditation Groups in the U.S. and Canada. They have many years of experience in teaching and spiritual counseling and spend some of their time each year traveling and teaching in the U.S. and India.
