Gentle/Yin Yoga

This Gentle/Yin Yoga class will help you to improve your balance, flexibility and strength. You will also learn breathing techniques to help with stress, anxiety and blood pressure. Yoga is a great way to stay active without putting strain on your joints. You will sleep better, move better and feel better. Improve the quality of your life with yoga in our small group classes.

This class is donation based ($12 donation recommended).

About the Instructor:
Carla Krzysiak found a yoga journey and career after almost 20 years of making ceramic beads and producing 3 little humans with her husband Jason. As an artist and owner of Baglady Beads in Hamtramck and Detroit, she would spend as many as 18 hours slumped over tiny clay objects and managing a successful wholesale and retail business.

The stress of running a business, poor posture and motherhood led her to yoga. She felt relief and fell in love with the physical practice and self-discovery. She earned her 200-hour RYT from Yoga Fit, hoping to give others the relief she felt from yoga.

In 2012 Carla founded Replenish Yoga Studio and Replenish Yoga Foundation with her then business partner, Michelle O’Brien. Today, She is currently working on her 500 RYT hours with Linda Kay and Ann Fancy.

You can expect your yoga needs to be met at whatever level you are at when you practice with Carla. A nurturing challenge will be offered physically and mentally, packaged in a 1-hour yoga class. She enjoys teaching many styles of classes including Kids Yoga Camp, Gentle therapeutic, slow flow and level one with meditation around the Detroit area.
