Ben Inverveigh is a small hill (639m) at the back of Bridge of Orchy accessed from a high point on the West Highland Way.
Distance: 6 miles
Terrain: West Highland Way path, grassy hill path, probably some off path on grassy hillside, forest track
Estimated time: 4 - 5 hours
Proposed route: see https://osmaps.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/route/3189810/Possible-Ben-Inverveigh. Descent is subject to being able to gain access to forest. If it looks like a high deer fence we may have to return by the ascent route.
What to bring: everything on the kit list at https://fifeoutandabout.weebly.com/kit-list.html
£1 guest fee for non-members
Meeting place: Bridge of Orchy Hotel (car park at the side of the hotel)
Please ensure you have read our participation agreement at https://fifeoutandabout.weebly.com/participation-agreement.html before joining the walk.
Depending on who is going on this walk we could instead of the above, do both Ben Inverveigh and Meall Tairbh (665m) from Inveroran. Distance is similar but there would be a lot more off path walking and there would be about 600m of ascent. See https://osmaps.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/route/3192781/Ben-Inverveigh-and-Meall-Tairbh
