What is your level of experience?

I have a BA in studio art, and felt I did well with figure drawing in school. But that was 15 years ago! I draw regularly for my comic, but I'm rusty when it comes to drawing from life.

What would you like to do in this group?

To improve my figure drawing skills through practice.

what do you like best about figure drawing?

I love that it can communicate very efficiently how a person is feeling in a moment.

Would you also like to see meetups that include formal instruction and lessons?

It's not a huge priority for me. I figured I might take classes from the Art Students League if I were looking for that. Certainly open to it.

I'm a local animator and make a regular web comic.
