Identity Thief

  • Vue Cinema

    Oracle Pkwy, Reading (map)

    51.453750 -0.967850

  • I'm listing meetups for several different films - all will be cancelled except one, we'll watch the one with the most RSVP votes. Please RSVP for more than one - whatever you'd like to see. We'll see the one which wins the vote!

I won't know the times that the films are on until Tuesday 2nd April but it will be a showing which starts between 8pm and 10pm.

I'll be asking you to send me the ticket money if you want me to get you a ticket so we can sit together (or buy your own if you prefer) once we know which film and when.

If you want to see a trailer for the film, check out the ‘coming soon’ section on

And there will be a meal beforehand – see other meetup.

    Identity Thief

Identity Thief is a brilliant comedy from the people who brought you Horrible Bosses and Ted. When Sandy (Jason Bateman) starts having his card declined he investigates and finds that he has had his identity stolen by a woman in another state who is living the high life at his expense. When he sees a picture of Diana (Melissa McCarthy), who he thinks looks like a Hobbit, he reckons he can handle it himself. Little does he know she’s not going to go without a fight, a pretty nasty one. Identity Thief is a hilarious romp with the excellent Melissa McCarthy of Bridesmaids fame.

Rotten tomatoes scored it at 21% with an average rating of 4.1 out of 10
