Joining Jon is Mickey De Hara who after a chance meeting with Guy Ritchie, became his screenwriter on Snatch and Rocknrolla. As many industry professionals do, he became hooked on Cocaine and was imprisoned for possession. During his time inside, he set up a charity Films4Life, dedicated to giving under-privileged young people the opportunity to change their lives through the art of filmmaking.
We’ll also be looking at the growing importance of the Chinese film industry, which recently displaced Japan to become the world’s second-biggest movie market. Who better to complete our trio of speakers than Sir David Tang KBE, Chinese Industry guru and businessman.
Join us for a complimentary Ultimate G&T at 12.30pm, before our speakers begin at 1pm. Lunch and music from the critically acclaimed guitarist and composer Moss Freed will be served in the Piano Bar from 2.30pm. Freed’s second album, with Moss Project, is out now on the Babel Label and will be performed live at the London Literature Festival.
After lunch, MC Tom Webb will host an afternoon of comedy from the Perrier Award-nominated John Gordillo and unique guitarist and comedian Jay Foreman. Visit www.sundaywise.com and book your tickets now.
Our cerebral lunch experience has now partnered with Bombay Sapphire. Based on a secret recipe from 1761, iconic gin brand Bombay Sapphire has been at the forefront of imagination – from its innovative recipe, exotic sourcing of its 10 botanical ingredients and unique distillation process, to its eye catching blue bottle. Now Sunday Wise drinkers can have the ‘Ultimate G&T’ experience with their favourite drink served with Fever Tree tonic, fresh lime in a balloon glass. The new balloon design of the glass traps the aromas from the G&T allowing the flavours to linger, resulting in a more intense, fuller flavour experience whilst the stemmed design keeps the liquid cooler for longer.
