What we're about

This group is a community of learners who meet to explore big questions at the root of how we live: What does it mean to live well? How can we find joy in a chaotic and unpredictable world? How do we live with purpose?

We dig into these topics through practical workshop activities, guided discussions and consideration of our experiences. The goal is to gain greater clarity on what is important, consider new perspectives, and use these insights to inform how we act in the world.

The atmosphere of the meetup is friendly and interactive: each evening begins with a brief story to illustrate a topic related to the theme of purpose. We then break into groups to develop questions on the topic, and explore them through a variety of methods which might include personal reflection, group discussion, or group production of an artifact (a poster, a table, a list of points etc.)

As we share our experiences and views, there'll be further input drawing on sources such as biography, literature and the Bible. Each session concludes with an invitation to set your own challenge to apply your learning from the evening and feedback on your experience at the next meetup.

All are welcome to these events, whether you are coming alone or with a friend. Come along for a drink and a good chat.
