Over the past 5 years I have taken my fitness and nutrition regime to a whole new level, pushing my athletic abilities beyond what I thought imaginable. Starting with short runs in my first ever triathlons to running my first half marathons to my most recent accomplishment of running the 2011 Boston Marathon (just 16 days after competing in an 8-hr, 56+ mile, 11,000+ ft elevation mountain biking race called Vision Quest). My ultimate goal is to compete in my very first Iron Man Triathlon and finish in under 13 hours (the average finish time for my age group is 13:01).
In high school I spent 4 years competing as a short distance runner (400m, XC) and while I did not continue my running career with a college team I continued with my passion of running and continue to participate in local 5K and 10K races as well as various endurance races including marathons, triathlons and mountain biking races.
I am an endurance athlete with a passion to support others in reaching their ‘Level 10’ health and fitness goals.
Run club rocks!!
