563 Crawford Street, Fitchburg, MA
Once again Santa will fly in via Heli to Fitchburg, this time to our new aviation center!
Come on out to the Fitchburg airport to welcome Santa and give kids a chance to sit with him and tell him their wish list.
This year, we will ONLY be accepting Toys for Tots donations. We will not be handing out toys like in previous years. One benefit to this is we will be opening this event up to the public. And music! The Nashoba Valley Concert Band will be returning again this year to add some wonderful Sounds of Christmas to the hangar.
Last year we had over 1200 attend! Santa was flown in from the North Pole with Steve Brousseau. Steve and Santa will do it again this year.
People will line in the parking lot of the airport near the new terminal and be escorted into our Aviation Center to greet and visit Santa.
We will need people to hand out cookies, play elfs, Heli ground ops, parking, etc.
Please reach out via meetup or to Patrick Daykin [masked] (our lead elf) if you are able to help in any way with prep or set up or as one of the many elfs we will need to pull this operation off.
We will have most of it set up the day before, but come early and finish up with the final touches - Setup Time is 11:00 a.m., event time is 2:00PM. Santa lands at about 2:15. We will have a break for Santa in between if needed or end early.
I have a passion for aviation ... so I fly with FPA to help feed my passion.
Love the sky, love to fly, glad to be around a group of similarly elevated thinkers...
