What we're about

This is a group for anyone interested in or working on personal growth. All fitness levels are welcomed. This group was created to connect individuals in sobriety or living a sober lifestyle who have found fitness and health to contribute to a fulfilling life. This group covers a large area and we will continually add group scheduling as membership grows.

Groups can be both free-form or facilitated and anything fitness and wellness is on the menu. Contact the group administrator to request a specific group, a specific activity, or for ideas or speciality facilitators.

The administration of this group has extensive experience and expertise in both recovery and health and wellness but will not oversee or monitor each activity and therefore makes no claims as to the safety, effectiveness, or appropriateness of the activity for each individual. Their role is to guide appropriate, healthy, activities that promote health while connecting those in recovery that are continuously improving their lives.

Looking forward to meeting like-minded individuals looking to improve their health, sweat, laugh, and live.

Castlewood State Park

There are many beautiful trails at Castlewood State Park to run, walk, or hike. The primary trail we use is approximately 3 miles with an elevation differential of approximately 700ft. The trail oversees the Meramac river from above at parts as well as parallel the river at others. This is a run/walk at your own pace. If you haven't been to this park you will be glad you attended. We will meet prior to the run/walk at the pavilion located next to the playground and individuals may pair up into groups or perform individually. This is about fun and fitness at your pace and connecting people.
