Free outdoor fitness for over 40's
This group's motto is "why not" Why not turn up why not have a laugh why not do some exercise. There are lots of reasons why we won't. It costs too much. I don't want to exercise with a bunch of younger fitter more toned men and women. I don't want to pay gym membership. - Well if that's the case then this class is for you. Now of course there are lots more reasons why you can't. Time and again I hear I am too unfit or too fat etc. I say sod that voice telling you don't, come join us, get fitter, feel happier and have some fun. If you're unfit and / or overweight it doesn't mean you're stuck with it. This class is your starting point for change. Those of you who are already fit come along and inspire us. What we're about

Free over 40s outdoor fitness class. Saturdays 9.30 am, Brockwell Park SE24, Starting 31st August 2013. Meet up point entrance to park opposite Rosendale Rd SE24 There is always a reason not to exercise. “I am too old”, “It costs too much” or “I’ll feel out of place”. Well no longer!! Come join us for at our Free over 40’s outdoor fitness class. It was created with you in mind. Don’t believe us! Come along and see; what can you lose it’s Free. A bit shy of coming alone, bring a friend. You don’t need to bring anything except your energy and laughter; ok, well some water and a small towel would come in handy. If you want to hang out after and have a bite to eat and a chat, then great. Don’t you want to be that person who you hear others admiring. You know the ones, You see them, despite their age or size they are full of energy and life; always doing stuff. You can do it too, just take that first step and come along to our over 40’s outdoor fitness class. You’ll meet like-minded and supportive people at our over 40’s outdoor fitness class Dave the trainer not only has the qualifications but has been where you are. He found himself staring his 50’s in the face, watching his waist-line getting bigger and bigger whilst his joy for life getting smaller. He doesn’t preach because as he says “I am only five steps ahead of you”. It’s his fun and honest approach to health and fitness which makes people who train with him walk away sweaty, smiling and inspired to getting fitter. Paula "When I first started working out with Dave I could barely run 100 yards without getting out of breath now I am running up to 2 miles 3/4 times a week and the weight has started to drop off!! I feel fitter than I have in years. Dave is really supportive and does not have that horrible drill sergeant approach that I thought all personal trainers have." Come along and give it a go.
