  • We will drive out Thursday night and camp at Willow Beach, get picked up early Friday morning around 700 AM, and get dropped off just below Hoover Dam. We will visit a sauna cave [masked]F), stop in Gold Strike Canyon (hot springs), and camp at two nights Arizona Hot Springs. We can hike around or visited other hot springs on the Nevada side Saturday. We'll paddle out on Sunday to where we left our cars. The cost would be $80-$100 depending on if you have your own boat. Please respond if you are interested. This section is usually flat water. Although, it can get windy and choppy.

Permits are $22.00 per person (transferable but non-refundable).  You can bring your own boat (about $40 for the shuttle pp) or rent a boat for about $70 PP (that includes the shuttle).

What do you propose for food - to each his own, or will we collaborate?

How about we each bring our own day time food and collaborate on group dinners? Kinda nice to cook together. We could split up the nights and share the burden.

I just bring my own food. It is so much easier that way for me.

Thanks for organizing Mark! Love this trip. Have to make sure about my schedule before I can commit. If I do go, I could share my canoe with someone.

I want to have at least 10 people interested before I get the permits. I'll take up to 20 people.
