THE IMPOSSIBLE

Our Saturday night movie had to be changed because "Stand Up Guys" is no longer playing in our area. The Impossible has received good reviews so it's a last minute addition. Movie Info>The Impossible'' is the powerful and unforgettable account of a family caught, with tens of thousands of strangers, in the mayhem of one of the worst natural catastrophes of our time. But the true-life terror is tempered by the unexpected displays of compassion, courage and simple kindness that Maria and her family encounter during the darkest hours of their lives.

After the movie we'll go nearby for a snack and a chat.

This story was about a real miracle. It was so well filmed and directed. Totally absorbing and heartwrenching; I enjoyed it although I felt like I went through it myself!

I have to say that I haven't seen a movie like this in years and I felt like I was in what they were going through also. I particularly watched the mother get her whole body ripped apart and she was beaten by everything under water and I was surprised that she survived such a thing. Plus I loved the closeness between her son, Lucas, and her and I loved that interaction with the little boy that was there too. It Both were so heartwarming watching that. It was also amazing how everybody just reunited with each other and it was such a happy ending that was so moving. The cast was surpurb too. I just loved the movie so much and the photography was amazing.

This was a heart wrenching film of perserverance. I thought the acting was wonderful, especially the children. The filming of the actual tsunami was amazing. Thanks for a fun night.

This movie was so unbelievable. To think this was a true story of a family fighting for their lives. The acting was terrific. The ending was a relief, seeing the whole family alive and well. Good time at Panera's.

Fantastic movie and very moving. It was so amazing how this family survived a tragedy and what they had to do for survival. The acting was so great too. The special effects and the photography was really great. We had a good group and it was fun going to Panera Bread with a lot of interesting conversations going on at the table. Excellent choice of movie.
