What we're about

FloLab is a wellness-first coworking space created for both wellness industry professionals and health conscious entrepreneurs and freelancers.

Based in the centre of The Hague, FloLab offers a workspace that highlights a holistic approach to professional life - one that supports your physical and mental health.

We offer flexible memberships from just €100 of:

• 1 day per week

• 3 days per week

• Full time

In addition to our membership-coworking space, we also host a variety of business and/or wellness evening and weekend events.

Finally, every week we visit a different location that provides a healthy working environment. Over a cup of coffee at some of The Hague's best cafes, we connect with other fellow freelancers and entrepreneurs, both from the wellness sector and just anybody that is looking for work/life balance.

We are two entrepreneurial ladies that have been working individually for some time. Don't know about you, but we love to have the freedom to work where and when we want. At the same time, however, we crave routine and the company of people.

Healthy working for us is all about choice and flexibility, but we would like to know what healthy working is for you. From personal experience, with have an affinity with people who have experienced challenges with anxiety, burnout and autoimmune issues. It is our mission to create a supportive community that can help everybody reach their professional goals.

You may feel it as raised heart rate, tension, alertness, shortness of breath - all signs of our bodily stress response. Making eye contact or opening up a conversation might seem so daunting. Learn to overcome your social anxiety with dance therapy! We’re not pushing it away, we’d rather accept that it’s there and learn how to ‘dance’ with it! Fear of being judged, negatively evaluated or rejected, could be among the reasons for social anxiety. They are the products of your mind, and yet they can change how your brain works as it copes with your anxiety. So why not, get the mind off the way and get into the body. Calm the mind by moving the body. Allow new experiences without any judgment. Dance/movement therapy is a creative, experience-based form of therapy that integrates the body-mind-emotions. It taps into your intuitive, non-verbal, bodily knowing. Through your experiences, you reflect to create more awareness. This helps your brain creates new connections (neuroplasticity). This empowers you to make lasting change in your life. Who is the workshop for? If you want to be more at ease with yourself in social situations, If you want to connect with others who share your struggle, If you’re curious about dance therapy, Then this is just the workshop for you! In this workshop, we will cover the following: 💫 ARRIVING These days we’re often in a rush. We start with an exercise on arriving - in the here and now, in your body, in the group. We listen to our body and set our intention. 💫 WARM-UP + CONNECTING GAME We warm up our body and to each other. We introduce ourselves through a creative, non-verbal game. The fun part is how to do it with as few words as possible. 💫 EXPERIENTIAL EXERCISES You’ll get explorative exercises in pairs or small groups. The aim is to be aware of your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations - self-awareness. You’ll have time in between to reflect and ask questions/feedback. We build up the exercises towards learning the skills to self-regulate. 💫 REFLECTION + SHARING You’ll have time to take notes, create intuitive drawings, to reflect on your experience. We will close together with an opportunity for sharing.
