Startup Founder 101 brings together aspiring and experienced tech entrepreneurs to discuss, meet, and collaborate to build great new startups, and to push the local startup ecosystem forward.

This group hosts numerous free events throughout the year where you can learn the best practices of starting a company from people who have been there and done that. You’ll have the opportunity to meet local founders and investors, exchange ideas with experts, get feedback on your idea, participate in startup workshops, and more.

Speed Mentoring: Get Startup Feedback from Experts

If you have a global startup or startup idea and would like to get feedback and guidance from top local entrepreneurs, then join this public "Speed Mentoring" event. At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to pitch expert CEO mentors and ask them questions about business strategy, key decisions, next steps, and more. Don't miss this opportunity to learn how experienced entrepreneurs would tackle the problems that you or others are facing. (this event will be in English without simultaneous translation) >>> The Start Local Go Global Program is a 3.5 month acceleration program where pre-seed funding entrepreneurs and early stage teams are supported to build an enduring company by establishing a critical support network of local and global startup experts that are invested in their success, and providing a structured and challenging business-building process that has helped our alumni raise over $800M. The program, which is a partnership between Founder Institute and JUPTER, also counts with several international affiliations that will act as resources & globalization opportunities for founders that participate in the program. All Start Local Go Global ecosystem events & program sessions (including all talks, presentations, assignments & deliveries) will be in English without translation. The program is adequated to individuals who have at least a fluent grasp of the English language and are looking to improve to full business proficiency. Individuals with full English proficiency will have a natural advantage in the program and corresponding benefits. It is not required, but if you would like to pitch and get feedback please prepare some materials by completing this worksheet and bringing it to the event. Those who don't participate can still watch and learn from the public feedback, and there will also be an open Q&A session with the Mentors.
