Weekly Olympus, Pentax, Ricoh, Sony (or any brand) Photo Showcase

  • 6 days ago · 8:00 AM
  • Online

The Online Photo Challenges are created as a way to encourage our members to shoot more photos and to post them online to share with other members.  The sharing of photos encourages members to get out and shoot.  The optional posting of comments also helps members improve their photography, learn new techniques and learn about new locations to photograph.

You have an entire week to post images to the challenge (until the next challenge posts on the following Friday).  You do not need to post to leave comments about the photos.  Critiques are also welcome but please be gentle in you criticism, so that members of all skill levels will feel comfortable participating.

A photo gallery will be automatically created about an hour after the start of the "showcase" for everyone to post their best photos made with  Olympus, Sony etc. cameras. Any Sony, Olympus camera, dSLR, point-n-shoot etc.

Please look above for this icon to click, to upload,

just below the right of the name of the event.

This is not judged and there are no prizes or awards.  Please post your comments to the photos in the gallery and be respectful of your fellow members.  You do not need to submit or post a photo to leave comments or share your thoughts.

There is also a Canon and Nikon showcase being created every Monday, so get out there all you Canon and Nikon photographers and post your best stuff.

This "event" takes place every Friday to encourage everyone to go out and practice their photography.  The bottom line is the more you shoot, the better you get.  The better you get, the more fun photography becomes.  The more fun photography is, the more you shoot.  The more you shoot, the better you get . . . you get the picture (no pun intended).  This is a repeating cycle and a great way to improve your photography

My Recommended Retailers

Where you buy your gear matters. You expect to get what you ordered and you want to pay a low price for it. The retailers I recommend below are the ones I trust for my own purchases.

FCCP Gear & More Store powered by Amazon

B & H Photo and Video

Adorama - The Photography People

Bringing you the activities and this site is now a full time job (typically 60-80 hours per week). Thus, I depend on membership fees and on the commissions received from you using the links on this site to make any purchase. My family and I are grateful for your support! - Jeff
