Details

Every other Thursday night we'll meet up to practice Bird in Flight (BIF) photography. You can also practice other forms of photography, such as Dragon Fly in Flight (DIFF), or Squirrel in Flight (SIF). Just kidding, you're welcome to shoot what you want, and instruction will be given when requested.

The new wildlife boardwalk is open and can offer great views of waders such as White Ibis, Spoonbill, Egrets and Herons.

This a great opportunity to photograph the many herons, egrets and ibis' as they head to Cooper's Bayou to roost. Occasionally we see Spoonbills and other species as well. This can provide very stunning shots if the setting sun cooperates.

Please park in the marina parking lot, it's FREE!

After the PhotoWalk we'll head to the BBQ place for a snack and some sharing of photos. No food or beverage purchase required.

FCCP offers some of the most affordable instructional PhotoTours you can find anywhere. Our PhotoTours combined expert photography instruction (certified instructors), bucket list locations (Yosemite, Yellowstone, Fall Color Tours) and safety (retired medical professionals travel on all tours).

My Recommended Retailers

Where you buy your gear matters. You expect to get what you ordered and you want to pay a low price for it. The retailers I recommend below are the ones I trust for my own purchases.

Bringing you the activities and this site is now a full time job (typically 60-80 hours per week). Thus, I depend on membership fees and on the commissions received from you using the links on this site to make any purchase. My family and I are grateful for your support! - Jeff
