Are you interested in learning about Florida natural habitats, Shakespeare, or a former astronauts love for jazz music? The Lifelong Scholar Society is a new program offered by Florida Tech’s Continuing Education Department for adults that are interested in intellectually stimulating experiences in a university setting. The Lifelong Scholar Society hosts 60 minute live lectures on various topics given by Florida Institute of Technology faculty and staff. The lectures cover a variety of topics ranging from nautical themes, literature, art, history, music, and science.

Lectures cost: $20 and include coffee and a variety of baked goodies!

Perks of being a member include:

-Half priced lectures ($10)

-3 member dinners in the Panther Dining Hall (1 per semester)
