Central Florida Chapter General Meeting and Annual Election of Officers

Meet at Wekiwa Springs State Park, Youth Camp and get to know your fellow FTA members, with guests always welcome. This month we will hear from Gene Bouley, a member of the Highlander Chapter of the FTA who serves as a Trail Master and Trip Leader. His topic is “Oregon, a Naturalist look along the Coast and through the Cascade Mountain Range.”

Bouley has a BA and MAT from Brown University in Geology and Earth Science, with 38 years’ teaching experience in Massachusetts. He spends summers in New Hampshire, running a back packing program in the White Mountains, serving as a volunteer naturalist and maintaining trails. He and his wife have hiked throughout the country.

The meeting will begin with a short social period at 6:30, followed by short announcements at 7pm.

Beverages or snack foods are appreciated. Don't forget to bring your aluminum cans for recycling and a flashlight for finding your car after dark!

As always, the public is invited.

Just ask at the gate for map and directions. Takes 15 minutes or more to get back there after you get to the park.
