Entrance to parking lot is from Julia Street or from US1. There is other nearby parking if the lot becomes full.
Join us for history and stay for "Candy Canes and Christmas Carols" themed parade if you'd like. We'll be walking about 6 miles on the sidewalks of New Smyrna Beach - mostly in the downtown and river front area, but we will be crossing the draw bridge north causeway to view a few favorites beach side.
Hometown charm shines through as this little town puts on a good show with their parades. The land parade hits Canal Street just before sunset. It begins at the intersection of Flagler Avenue and South Atlantic Avenue and travels west along Flagler Avenue and the North Causeway, south on Riverside Drive and will turn west onto Canal Street. If you want, make a day of it and get your jolly on!
For those who want to enjoy lunch with the gang, I plan on Yellow Dog Eats at 147 Canal Street, and just down the way we can add an ice cream treat at the Canal Creamery at 323 Canal Street. There are certainly lots of other options to capitalize upon in NSB.
This is held in conjunction with the Lake Mary Adventure Walkers. If you'd like a commemorative patch, they are $2.
