Florida Voices for Animals (FVA), sponsors of the Annual Tampa Bay VegFest, is a nonprofit organization. Our members work for the compassionate treatment of animals. Issues we're involved in: exploitation of animals in entertainment, on factory farms, and by breeders; protection of endangered wildlife; spay and neuter programs; reduction of domestic abuse and neglect of companion animals; promotion of plant-based diets; support of animal sanctuaries; and protection of the environment for all animals, human and nonhuman. Join us today to help create a gentler, more compassionate world! We hold lots of events in the Tampa Bay Area. Come to one of our pot lucks or dinners and meet renowned advocates for animals. Help us with leafleting or education of schoolchildren on animal rights and plant-based diets. Pitch in to help at one of our vegan bake sales or other advocacy events. Come to our celebrated ThanksVegan dinner. Join us to get involved, and meet lots of other caring, compassionate people like you!

FVA Tabling a Central Florida Earth Day, Saturday Apr 20, 2019 10a-6p

Central Florida Earth Day, now in its 14th year, is back! It will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at beautiful Lake Eola Park in Orlando. Please join us at the largest and most prestigious Earth Day event in Central Florida. FVA will be tabling to participate in this wonderful event. Volunteers needed for whatever time you can spare. The event will include healthy living and eco-friendly exhibitors, speakers, and presentations; non-profits; fun and games for kids; dog and cat adoptions; restaurant booths; environmental and humane education; artist and craft corners; and live music and entertainment. Central Florida Earth Day will draw both committed environmentalists and those who want to learn more about how to protect our health, the planet, and its inhabitants. You can promote your business or group to thousands of people who want to learn more about environmentalism and the varied products and services that support an eco-friendly and a veg-friendly way of life. Lotus Vegan Buffet, Pinellas Park, St Pete

Enjoy an all-vegan buffet at Lotus Vegan Restaurant (http://LotusVegan.us) for only $13 (beverage not included.) This buffet takes place every 3rd Saturday. Please note that this meet up is listed as informational as we do not always have an FVA organizer present. So, grab a friend, relative, spouse, significant other, neighbor, co-worker, kids, etc. and enjoy a delicious vegan buffet!

Suncoast VegFest FVA Booth

Highlander Park

This will be Dunedin's very first Veg Fest! Please join FVA to educate the public about animal cruelty issues and the benefits of a vegan way of life. We will have our own booth with literature and possibly food samples. Volunteers please let us know what hours you would like to assist at the FVA booth. We will likely be setting up about 9am and breaking down at 6pm.

Vegan Brunch at Cafe Hey

Come to Café Hey (near downtown Tampa) the last Sunday of every month for a delicious vegan brunch.
