Florida Voices for Animals' 3rd annual Tampa Bay Veg Fest was a huge success with thousands of attendees and lots of positive feedback. It's not too soon to start planning our 4th annual Veg Fest. An event of this size can only be a success with many volunteers. We are looking for people who want to sign up for committees and begin work early next year. This would involve a commitment of a few hours a week or a month. Are you willing and able to help make our next event even bigger and better? If so, we are looking for you! There are several committees looking for members from reaching out to new vendors and sponsors to writing grants and getting funds to working on our PR/advertising committee. Can't make the meeting? No problem! Simply e-mail us at [masked] and let us know what you'd like to do or let us know if you have any questions.
We will meet at the West Tampa library. As one of only ten public libraries in Florida funded by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, the Carnegie Library (West Tampa Library) on Howard Avenue was constructed in 1913 in Neo-Classical Revival architectural style. As you enter the doors on Union Street, take the stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor meeting room. If you have a minute or 2 before or after the meeting, be sure to step inside the library on the first floor to see the beautiful stained glass windows. The library is located at the corner of W. Union Street and N. Howard Avenue. http://www.hcplc.org/hcplc/locations/wtp/
