Dao Dan Pai (Taoist Elixir Style) Meditation, Ch'i Kung (Qigong) and Neigong (Internal Alchemy) represents the most complete and balanced system that I am aware of for awakening the inner dragon (kundalini or serpent power), refining and raising it to the highest levels of development, safely, while remaining fully functional, grounded and integrated.

This is accomplished through simultaneously cultivating and carefully balancing both the rising and descending energies (yin and yang), moving the kundalini energy up the back and down the front of the body in a complete circle like the snake swallowing its tail (also known as the microcosmic orbit). This is an instant solution to almost all negative side-effects related to the raising of kundalini without sufficient grounding and balance. A tree can only extend its branches as high into the heavens as its roots go deep into the earth, otherwise, the first strong wind that comes along will topple the tree.

I have taught this system for more 45 years and have found it to be a sublime blessing for healers, light-workers, yogis, meditators, and anyone who works with energy. It is a complete internal energy yoga that cultivates the three treasures: Ching (sexual essence, kundalini), Ch'i (vital breath, prana) and Shen (spirit, pure awareness). Training also includes deep meditation similar to Chan or Zen and learning to use the energy to heal.

My training began when I was 18 years old under Chinese Taoist Grand Master, Share K. Lew, the lineage holder of Dao Dan Pai (Taoist Elixir Style) who was trained at the legendary Huang Lung Guan (Yellow Dragon Monastery) on the top of sacred Luo Fu Shan (shan, mountain) in Guangdong, a Taoist temple famous for its kung fu, Qigong and medical/healing/herbal knowledge.

Meditation, both moving and quiet sitting, is at the very heart of this path that leads to our natural human state, "wu wei", which means spontaneous effortless action, naturally doing the right thing at the right time without thought or effort. As my Taoist Master taught me, "Taoist way... not forced".
