What we're about

Anxiety and depression can be debilitating and rob you of joy. This care group will provide you with support and tools to reduce stress, depression, and anxiety through insights that come from both psychology and the Bible.

There is a $20 cost for materials.

Childcare is available for a small fee for ages two and older with pre-registration.

Support Group In Person Meeting

Lakeside Church

Our support group meets in person. We meet in the secondary building of Lakeside Church at 745 Oak Avenue Parkway; the building is called The Block and is labeled with its name. We sit 6' apart and require masks while inside the building, so please wear a mask. We will also take your temperature with a contactless thermometer upon entry. New members are always welcome to join us!

We will start out with reports on how your week has been so we can support one another, and then we'll be studying a new chapter each week of a peer support group book called Living Grace that is written by professional psychologists and psychiatrists who are Christians. We have books available for purchase at $20 apiece, or you can just listen to us read it for free. You don't need to be a Christian or believe in God to come and still get a lot of benefit out of the group.

We have a Zoom meeting option on Tuesday evenings if you'd prefer that. Please message me, Trudy, and let me know if you'd like to meet on Zoom.

If you have any questions, please feel free to message me, Trudy, and ask. I want to make sure you will feel completely safe and comfortable joining us!
