Let's face it. There are a lot of things we can't control but what we put in our mouths is not one of them. I have taken the journey (off-and-on....more on than off) to conscious eating since I picked up the book "Diet for a Small Planet" when I was 19 years old. I have always come back to that basic way of eating. Why.... you say? Because it's, simple, fun, creative, rewarding, honest, it makes me feel good, I have much more energy and the list goes on. Now there's "Food Matters"....a very well thought out means of communicating with people who feel like me and with people who want to test the waters or perhaps they want to get educated about this whole "food thing". Get together and talk about healthy eating and all the benefits of living a whole food lifestyle. I have never hosted a meet up, but I would love to start now. I would like to do this when everyone can come.
