What we're about
Now is your chance to take fun action against food waste by joining the Food Exchange Cafe in Brussels. Bring your food which you don't want to use at home anymore to exchange for some other delicious food.
Organizer: Food Surplus Entrepreneurs (FSE) Network. It is a European community connecting Food Surplus Entrepreneurs, or in other words: food waste heroes. Our goal: a world without food waste.
The FSE Network supports Food Surplus Entrepreneurs in four ways:
– It organizes international events to bring together social innovators from across Europe, like the Food Waste Collab.
– It connects Food Surplus Entrepreneurs internationally in a virtual, pan-European platform which connects 180 social innovators.
– It connects them on a city or regional level in FSE Hubs where social innovators meet regularly to build solutions to their challenges or to inspire new entrepreneurs.
– It showcases the movement of Food Surplus Entrepreneurs on its online map and social media.
Moreover, the FSE Network helps local governments to reduce food waste through social entrepreneurship. It guides cities and municipalities on how they can reduce food waste and to work towards the Zero Food Waste City.
The FSE Network is part of Feedback, the organization of Tristram Stuart (worldwide campaigner against food waste). Feeding the 5000, the Pig Idea and Gleaning Network are other projects by Feedback.
The FSE Network is fueled by over 30 volunteers internationally. We are always looking for more helping hands, so reach out to the organizers if you would be interested in making the world a better place.
