Demo & Tasting of Small Batch Foods. (PAID Event)ow)

This is a PAID event, purchase $15 tickets here:

You can also purchase tickets at the door.

This event will feature 8-12 artisan small batch producers showcasing their products and providing tastings to the group.

The folks at Buyer's Best Friend (BBF) have graciously offered to host the event at their new store location.

The $15 ticket price includes a $10 store credit, which can be used to purchase products at BBF.

The goal of the event is to showcase the founders and their products, by storytelling and food tasting. The format will include a brief introduction of the food producres and ask them to provide a short story of who they are, what makes their product unique, and their vision. Then we'll open up the event for networking and food tasting.

Our Host, Buyer's Best Friend - Wholesale & Mercantile:

The first three dials in the new series cover the Upper Midwest area, the San Francisco Bay area, and the New York City area. Each dial features charming hand drawn images of vegetables, fruits, grains, dairy products, meats, and traditionally preserved regional foods.

Thanks to everyone who made this last event, both as an attendee and and especially, the great producers who sampled their food and drinks. We have another event coming up at BBF, this time w/ Skiz Fernando, author of the New York Times Notable Cookbook, "Rice & Curry: Sri Lankan Home Cooking" will be having a special dinner next week at BBF.

He's preparing a traditional Sri Lankan "Rice & Curry" dinner and giving a walk-through on Sri Lankan Food 101. If you saw the episode of "No Reservations" where Bourdain visits Sri Lanka, Skiz was the guide.

I've had his food before, and let me tell you, it's *amazing* -- don't miss out on this event!
