Costas Restaurant in Tarpon Springs OPA!

 CLEA HAS SET THE DATE AND NO LIMIT ON FOODIES TO SHOW UP!!!!

 

The menu is a TASTING MENU AND WILL COST $20.00 WITH THE ADDITION OF THE TIP.
We will use Pay Pal and there is no limit as to the number of attendees. Right now the list says 20 plus 18 on the waiting list. Who ever prepays will attend.
The TASTING MENU is: First we will start with Saganaki (Flaming Cheese); A Greek Salad; Seafood Feast which includes Grilled Octopus, Calamari and Fried Selts; the Combination Platter which includes Moussaka, Pastitsio, stuffed Grape Leaves with Tsatsiki Sauce; and a Lamb Shishkebob with Greek Vegetables. I left the dessert for Stellios to decide. He has 2 for 1 Beer or Sangria which you can buy extra.

 

Come enjoy the real tastes of the Greek Islands at Costas Restaurant, located in the heart of Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks. We serve all authentic Greek food from fresh seafood such as calamari, octopus, and wide variety of fish and old classics such as gyros, souvlaki, lamb, and stuffed grape leaves. View our menu.

While visiting the nearby local shops and attractions, you'll be able to relax in a nice quiet setting, trying one of our great appetizers or entrees. Or just come in and have a drink at our new bar. Daily specials include 2-4-1 Draft beer and Sangria.

 

Clea is our lovely host for this event. Time and date will be posted once she has made the arrangements with the owner.

    Hi All, I am setting up this Meet-up with the owner of Costas. The price will depend on the number attending and I am trying to get a tasting menu set up. The next step is to pick a date that is comfortable for the attendees as well as the restaurant. Because the price is dependent on the number of attendees, we are looking at a prepay. The restaurant can accomodate the 31 listed as interested but again the price for the evening will depend on the actual number attending. The more that attend, the lower the price.
    I would like some input from those that wish to attend.

      Since the price is so dependent upon participation, why not ask the restaurant where the cost will fall for 15, and how many courses he would serve for 15, and at what price. Then we can commit to that level with A $10 deposit, and if more want to pony up some money to attend, the final price goes down.
