Member Code of Conduct

We strive to provide a environment in which members can trust and respect one another. This holds regardless of whether the event is being held at a public establishment or private residence. The organizers reserve the right to remove any member of the group at any time to preserve such an environment.

Our group maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards threatening, harassing, dangerous, and illegal activity. Discrimination, including harassment, on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, gender identity or expression, or disability is expressly prohibited. Members engaging in activities deemed to fall within these categories will have their membership revoked.

Harassment may be subtle, manipulative and is not always evident. It does not refer to occasional compliments of a socially acceptable nature. It refers to behavior that is not welcome and is personally offensive.

Any member who feels that they are being harassed should immediately notify an organizer. We will initiate a confidential and impartial investigation of the incident, and the parties involved will be notified of the findings.

The following behaviours will also result in your removal from the group:


  • Leaving without settling your portion of the check - You are responsible for paying your portion of the check, including contributions towards the cost of items shared with the table or other guests. If you need to leave early, confirm with the event host that you have paid your portion.
  • Distributing the address of a private venue - If you have been given the address of a private residence where an event is to be held, do not disseminate this address to other members. If you do not receive the event address, you should send a message to the host of the event.
  • Unsanctioned promotion - You should not post in the comments or send messages to members advertising and promoting other events, activities, businesses, etc. without explicit permission from the leadership team
