In case anyone is interested. Looks like tickets need to be purchased in advance. Also, check to make sure your local store is going to have it.

Thanks for that info Darrell! My grandmother was Swedish and lingonberries were a fancy dinner staple. So were brown beans, funny that I don't see them here. They were vinegary and I hated them but my father ate them like they were going out of style. Not sure I'll go though--that's a dangerous store to go into! wink

Tickets will go on sale starting May 1st in the IKEA Burbank Restaurant.

There will be two seatings:
1st Seating: 4:00-5:30pm
2nd Seating: 6:30-8pm

* Seating is limited, and tickets must be purchased prior to day of event.
* NO tickets will be available on the day of the event.
*The Restaurant will close at 2:30 pm on the day of the event.

We need an IKEA on the Westside, Mid-Wilshire or Hollywood.

It would be nice but highly unlikely, considering the fact that large amounts of space are at a premium in most of the Westside areas...not to mention the NIMBY factor.
