In Memory of Gary Mogil~

Pasadena, CA
Gary Mogil, our foodies member passed away as Joan Reiss announced yesterday. Gary was such an installation in Meetup, well liked and much appreciated. He loved life and was giving and a pleasure to be around. Those of us who knew him well are grieving, but in the spirit of a man, who strives to enjoy him, please remember and celebrate his kindness, generosity, and fine spirit.

The funeral will likely be Tuesday or Wednesday next week in Philadelphia. Here’s the address for those who like to send your condolences to Gary:
Jill and Bill Zanan (Gary’s sister & brother in law)
36 Lee Lynn Lane, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006-7960.

As Joan Reiss mentioned, Gary was very involved with CORA in Burlingame CA where he served on the Board of Directors for many years. He also believed strongly in the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association. If anyone is going to make a donation in his name the above three are places that were close to his big heart.

All of my current meetup events hosting are now canceled, to honor and respect Gary Mogil. It’s voluntarily if any of our organizers like to do so. We will get together to celebrate his life arranged by our foodies members Sunny DeJesus and Joan Reiss. I believe the confirmation and announcement will be soon distributed to our members later on.

Treasure and cherish for what we have, as life is too short to be wasted…
