After the recent dineLA events and Ludobites 8.0, I was thinking about past fine dining venues and I remembered the Le Cordon Bleu Restaurant in Pasadena, Technique. For nearly 1/2 the price of soup at Ludo8, you could enjoy a 4 course prix fixe dinner at Technique. Tips... They only have a couple of tables for 6 and to get a rezzy, you have to RSVP on OpenTable on Monday for the following week. It's a small place, they get fully booked and there's only 2 tables that will seat a party of 6.

For the price of a gourmet burger, we could be dining on shrimp risotto AND Nicoise salad w/seared ahi tuna AND Filet Mignon w/Hollandaise sauce w/fries and tomato salad AND Dessert!

I should be dining here once a month or so... Probably the best deal in LA County...
