The Green Farmacy Garden Tour

  • Jul 29, 2014 · 6:00 PM

Hey folks,

I've had some request for a planned visit to Jim Dukes place The Green Farmacy Garden. It's been quite difficult to nail down a time with them to make a special tour. So, >here< is the open to public tour dates. Email them to RSVP. It's a $20 requested fee per person. The group maxes out at 25. Feel free to talk among yourselves to find carpools. Also take note of the workshops they have coming up.

For those that don't know who Jim Duke is, he is the author of the following books...

A Field Guide to Medicinal Plants and Herbs

Dr. Duke's Essential Herbs: 13 Vital Herbs You Need to Disease-Proof Your Body, Boost Your Energy, Lengthen Your Life

The Green Pharmacy Herbal Handbook

The Green Pharmacy Guide to Healing Foods

Hey, who is actually going to this? I encourage you to carpool as parking is unlimited.

I still have room in my car if anyone wants a ride. I'm leaving from the towson area.

If anyone's really itching to go, there are 5 spots available for Saturday's trip with The Natural History Society of Maryland. Here's the link:

The price is a little bit steeper, but it's on the weekend which may be better for some people. "Cost: $30 members of the Natural History Society of Maryland; $35 non-members. Bring cash or a check to Meadowood Park. Become a member of the Society at

Since there's limited parking at the Garden, we'll be carpooling from Meadowood Park in Lutherville. Meet in the parking lot at noon. Wear a hat and bring water."
