Tell us about yourself and how you found the group.

I have purchased several books. I am leery about picking a plant based on a picture and feel I need guidance. I have read that there are only aprox 60 plants that Americans eat (purchased or grown on their own) - there are ,however, 4000+ native plants that are eatable. I would love to learn more. I searched the internet for help & found this site.

local artist and art teacher. written, illustrated & published 2 children books. love gardening. self taught. fascinated with the idea of foraging - but don't know how to begin. would love to learn more, more, more more.
