What we're about
We are a group of dedicated meditators in the Theravada Buddhist tradition of the Thai Forest Masters. We practice Breath Meditation as taught by the Buddha and his disciples. We begin practice with a little chanting in Pali, then listen to a Dhamma talk. We end the meditation with a Metta chant.
We are open to all, you do not have to consider yourself Buddhist to participate. We would like to offer a meditation experience rooted in the Dhamma whether you are a long-time practitioner or just curious. We typically meditate for one hour, but you are free to practice shorter.
Dhamma talks are by Thanissaro Bhikkhu, abbot of Wat Metta in California. Meditation materials, including books, are available free of charge. More information can be found at www.watmetta.org
