What we're about

Caring support for your "why" . . . whether for health, animal welfare, and/or the environment - exploring or choosing a whole plant-based (WPB) lifestyle (whole foods vegan)

What: (Purpose) To offer a safe, confidential space to share concerns, problems, struggles and successes with others also trying to practice a WPB lifestyle. Open admission - come as many or few times as desired.

Group Understandings:
~ What is said here; stays here
~ One person speaks at a time
~ Offer ideas not advice (including no medical advice)
~ Listen to understand

Format: A group member shares a challenge and other members are invited to make helpful suggestions. The group member presenting the challenge is expected to listen uninterrupted and to express thanks for each suggestion.

Suggestions are recorded by one of the co-facilitators and this written record of a “menu of solutions” is given to the group member presenting the challenge. It is up to this group member to then choose what suggestions he or she wishes to try when dealing with the challenge. This group member is invited to return to the group the next month to voluntarily share what course of action(s) he/she chose and what outcomes resulted.
This process becomes a helpful resource for other group members to try new or different strategies to uphold their whole plant-based lifestyle efforts.

Fee: None - donations are welcome to cover paper costs, etc.

Optional: Group members may want to bring their own water bottle and a snack to share with other group members.
